Once upon a time, there was a girl who made a promise to post once every day. She’d made that promise rashly and hadn’t thought it through, nor did she correctly judge how much work it would be to do it.
But that girl had made the promise and, although she’d seen her mistake before, was determined to keep up with it.
Plus, if she broke her promise, her good friend Shelby had promised to Rick Roll her, and Rick Rolling is the worst thing that an Internet friend can do to another Internet friend. She did NOT want to be Rick Rolled. She shuddered at even the thought.
So she’d been doing a good job of keeping up with her Post-A-Day resolution — until just a few days ago, when she was sent, by surprise, to a magical land WITH NO INTERNET ACCESS. *gasp*
And, therefore, she cannot be Rick Rolled because it wasn’t her fault that there were no posts on Saturday or Sunday.

Curse you, Perry the Platypus!
Actually, I’m Perry the Platypus. You’re Dr. D.
So you’re cursing yourself?
Yes…?
Hh. Alright. Just clarifying.
That’s what she said.
That’s dirty…
No, YOU’RE dirty! *Burn*
“But that girl had made the promise and, although she’d seen her mistake before, was determined to keep up with it.” Hmmm… It seems from this post that you’ve had your hiatus from the blogging world, and now ought to be back into things. Would the accused like to speak in her defense?
I’ve been told to annoy you into posting by Havoc. Blame her.
I HATE HAVOC. And also, yeah. I’ve had a kind of amazingly busy week. >>” BUT. I AM GOING TO WRITE A POST AS SOON AS I HAVE A SPARE MOMENT. THERE WILL BE ONE TODAY, FOR SURE.
Okay. And don’t blame Havoc either– it was me who asked. (WordPress hasn’t been giving me notifications of new posts, so I was wondering.)
